the Paint Pallet Story…

It all started during Spring Break of 2023. Bob and Andi were road tripping in their camper to visit friends in Kansas. Bob had been considering a change from his position managing a different Benjamin Moore paint store, and the time seemed right to start a new venture.

They discussed many different details, the pros and cons of starting a new business, and most importantly brainstormed names for the paint store. Andi, being fond of alliterations, came up with the final name… the Paint Pallet… and the motto… the place people prefer purchasing paint, which went through several iterations including …the place professional painters and the public prefer procuring premium paint products… what a mouthful… could we add any more Ps?

Andi was looking forward to designing elements of the store and having a place to sell some of her handmade crafty items. Bob was excited about working for himself and being able to make decisions about the way his store would run.

So they decided to pour everything they had into this new vision. Over the next year and a half, they worked hard to make this vision a reality. From writing their first business plan, to finding and securing a great location, remodeling the space, and finally setting up the store, it has been quite the journey.
